 TargetSafety and ISFSI Have Joined Forces!
TargetSafety has partnered with the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI) to host a unique online training platform for instructors. Fire Instructors everywhere can go to www.targetsafety.com/isfsi/ to access a free file sharing system.
“The ISFSI File Center provides instructors a place where they can share their training information with other instructors. They can share PowerPoints, handouts, training props, and teaching outlines. We’re bound only by our imagination,” said ISFSI President-elect Eddie Buchanan. The site also features a forum area where instructors can go to discuss training related issues.
In addition to the File Center, the ISFSI will also serve as a “talent scout” for future TargetSafety training content and topics. “This arrangement provides both organizations the opportunity to do what they do best,” Buchanan said. “The ISFSI specializes in curriculum development, while TargetSafety provides a state-of-the-art training delivery and record keeping system. We believe this partnership will prove very valuable to the fire service over time. ISFSI representatives will begin to seek out the best instructors with the best content to be considered to join the TargetSafety educational line up. This partnership gives access to the masses for our members, who are some of the best instructors in the fire service,” Buchanan added.
