Custom Tests provides a number of time-saving shortcuts that make building your online exams simple. These include:
The ability to categorize questions. Every question that you create using Custom Tests is assigned a category, one that you select. Based on these categories, you can build entire tests or simply add questions from a given category to an existing test.
"Normal" and "advanced" display modes. Depending on your personal preference, you can select either “normal” or “advanced” display mode. With normal mode, only the test questions appear as you’re creating your exam. However, using the “advanced” display mode, you can view the test questions and question categories. You can also add new questions and new categories at the same time you’re creating your exam.
Drag-and-drop functionality for organizing test questions. Once you’ve selected the questions that you’d like to add to your exam, simply drag and drop them in the order in which you want them to appear.

Random sorting capabilities. Custom Tests gives you the option to let the application randomly sort your questions. Moreover, questions within a category are automatically randomized and the application picks different questions for every test taker, based on the total number of questions you select from a given category. (For example, if you select 10 questions from a category that has 20 questions total, Custom Tests will randomly assign a different 10 questions to everyone who takes the exam.)
A question ID. Each time a question is created, it is assigned a unique identification number. With this number, you can keep track of which question you used in every test you create.
An intuitive test engine. The application’s intuitive test engine prevents you from inadvertently adding a duplicate question to the exam.
Public or private access. You decide whether your exams can be viewed, and edited, by other PreventionLink administrators in your organization. Sharing tests can save you time as well as help you standardize your company’s online training and compliance programs.
Test preview option. Once you’ve created your test, you can “preview” it in a different screen and, if necessary, make additional edits before saving the final version.
