Update Center4.15.08: New Feature! Course Content ReviewCourse Content Review is a tool that allows users to revisit the courses that they have previously completed. Users will not be allowed to view or re-take the test at the end of the course, but they will have access to all the content. This tool is accessible to all users by going to their History and all of the available course will be links that they can then click on to get to the course content. For more information on this new feature, see our Feature Overview. 4.15.08: New Feature! Password ResetThe Password Reset Tool is a tool that gives administrators and supervisors the ability to reset the password for any standard users in the system. A new change password link has been added to the Modify User Profile page. When an administrator or supervisor enters a new password for a user, an email will be sent to the user indicating that their password has been updated. For more information on this new feature, see our Feature Overview. 4.01.08: New Fleet Course LaunchedThe Dangers of Speeding is now available. This course is available for automobile drivers, drivers of large vehicle, and emergency vehicle operators. 3.31.08: New ManageSmart Course AvailableThe latest course in our Employment Practices series - Preventing Discrimination in the Workplace - is now available. 3.27.08: Two New Fleet Courses LaunchedDefensive Driving Strategies for Emergency Vehicle Operators and Defensive Driving Strategies for Large Vehicle Drivers are now available. 3.17.08: Organizational Management Tools UpdateThe Organizational Management Tools (OMT) allows administrators to specify their own categories and groups within the PreventionLink system. OMT can support your organizational charts by customizing groups and assigning supervisors to oversee those groups. For more information on this feature, see our Feature Overview. 3.6.08: Self Assign Custom ActivitiesSelf Assign Custom Activities allows a user to complete a Custom Activity without requiring assignment from an administrator or supervisor. There is no limit to the frequency and number of times the activity can be completed. For more information on this feature, see our Feature Overview. 2.26.08: Brunacini Boss Behaviors Course LaunchedTargetSafety is pleased to announce the release of Functional Boss Behaviors by Alan Brunacini! TargetSafety has partnered with Retired Phoenix Fire Chief Alan Brunacini to develop an online training course based on his popular Functional Boss Behaviors book. The Functional Boss Behaviors series outlines ten rules for bosses in the fire industry to ensure their behavior creates an environment that helps workers to deliver standard service and added value directly to the customer. The new two-part course includes updated content, as well as new review exercises and test questions. Please contact Client Services if you would like your existing General First Aid course assignments updated with the new courses. Thanks for your feedback! 1.14.08: California Firefighter JAC Reporting ApplicationCalifornia Fire Departments reporting to the California Fire Fighter Joint Apprenticeship Committee will be happy to hear that we have just finished a new application that supports tracking all JAC related training (both TargetSafety and other training) and reporting it directly to JAC each month. TargetSafety clients can refer to the Frequently Asked Questions we have prepared and contact TargetSafety Support to enable this new feature on your organization's PreventionLink website. 1.2.07: New Fleet Courses LaunchedThe latest courses in our fleet program -- Aggressive Driving and Sharing the Road -- are now available. 12.20.07: Coming Soon! EVO Courses for Law Enforcement DriversWe are pleased to announce release of our first courses developed specifically for law enforcement officers! EVO for Law Enforcement will include topics such as Pursuit Driving, Emergency Vehicle Operations, and Police Vehicle Technology. The first two courses in this program -- Driver Safety Orientation and Impaired Driving -- are now available. 12.19.07: New Employment Practices Series LaunchedWe recently launched a new employment practices series for supervisors. The series will include nine courses that provide an overview of issues encountered in the workplace, including issues of harassment, hiring and termination, discrimination, evaluation, and documentation. The first three courses in the series -- Employment Practices Overview, Sexual Harassment for Supervisors, and Interviewing and Hiring -- are now available. 12.11.07: New EVO Courses LaunchedThe two newest EVO course - Legal Considerations for Emergency Vehicle Operators and Emergency Vehicle Characteristics - are now available. 12.10.07: Dashboard UpdateBased on feedback from the community, we have revised the dashboard to reflect more relevant information and provide an easy view into your organizations usage of the PreventionLink Platform. 12.02.07: More Secure Password ManagementAs part of our on-going security improvement process we have removed the administrative password lookup capability from the PreventionLink system.
