“I work for a company that strives to earn 'world class' ranking and expects the same from its vendors and suppliers. I have seen exactly that from your team -- 'world class'. Your company has been committed to working though technical issues with us and answering our questions. Your programmers have also been responsive and open to our requests. This has proved to be an excellent experience for us as we enter a new paradigm in training”.

“Refresher training, when conducted in a classroom format, is a logistical challenge. At one-fifth or one-eighth the cost of a conventional classroom course, our online users are getting reliable, consistent training courses. We get customized OSHA, EPA, and USMC-approved content at a great cost.”

“What we’re most thrilled about is that an automatic administrative record is electronically created and maintained each time a user logs in and takes a course!”

“In all honesty, I don't think I've ever, ever encountered a company as accommodating as TargetSafety. At every turn TargetSafety's flexibility and eye on their customers' needs seems unparalleled. I am truly impressed”.

Overall, the feedback has been good. It seems to me that in reviewing the evaluations, we get mostly scores of 4's from most of our employees. We've had lots of our employees voluntarily take many courses that aren't actually required for their position/job assignment. At last glance, I think we're over 500 courses taken with absolutely NO pressure or follow-up reminders.

I think that the value to our organization & it's employees is multi-faceted.

First & foremost, after completing the prescribed courses for a particular job assignment, we're confident that we could defend that we've met or exceeded the Cal/OSHA 3203 requirment that employees need to receive training specific to their jobs before assuming the job duties.

By having the resource on-line 7/24, our employees can self-direct themselves to productively use "slack time" (that might otherwise "slip away") for productive, job-relevant training & skill building. Since the training can be done on any shift, by any number of employees concurrently, it gives us lots more flexibility than traditional "classroom" training were you have to get: A knowledgeable and willing instructor, an appropriate training room/ work space, relevant materials; and enough participants/trainees to make putting the class on a cost-effective event. IF we decide that we WANT to conduct a traditional instructor-led training session, we can download and print out TargetSafety materials to use as an instructor guide OR we can print them out for all participants as handout materials that they can retain for future use or to refresh their memory. With the courses being available in bi-lingual formats, employees who fell more comfortable and proficient in Spanish can take the appropriately formatted courses without anybody knowing that they're more comfortable in Spanish than in English.

Regarding what impact has it had on our frequency and severity rates, we haven't seen any dramatic in that area. That's not to say that it's not helping, it's just that the window is too short to see any major, long-term trend in our accident/injury statistics. Ask me again in 5 years & I should have a much better/more documentable take on it's impact on our safety statistics.

For me, the "bottom line" is that we're providing our employees with a great opportunity to learn new materials or to refresh their memories of things they already knew. Most of all, we feel that we're doing the right thins for the right reasons and using the right produce/service for our employees.

Our lost time/accident/first aid losses have been extremely low for the last 6-7 years with 3 years of no lost time issues, and now almost another 2 years of no lost time issues. TS can't claim all the glory but it has definitely kept our awareness levels up high, and the monthly training sessions are a constant reminder to keep safety in mind every hour of every day. TS training courses are invaluable to follow-up to in house training and to serve as a constant reminder to be safe.

I find exceptional value in all aspects of TS training. 24/7 access, smart secure navigating through the web-site, valid awareness level training. Staff can complete training when their busy schedules permit. I don't have to schedule and reschedule training to reach our entire effected staff. Convenient record keeping data base. And CWEA contact hours, on the cheap!!!!!!!!!!

Feedback has been on an unprecedented level. Out of a high of 5 most staff rate the TS courses between a 4 to 5. Staff always asked when next months assignments are going to be posted...can't get much better than this. Buy-in has been non-existent staff has been very eager to participate and complete TS training tasks. I receive nothing but encouraging words regarding TS from my staff. TS has helped make risk management program even better!

Target Safety provides online courses that facilitate less staff hours of lecturing and provide more time for hands-on training. Online training also allows our department to meet more OSHA and NFPA standards and empowers training staff to create custom courses, further reducing personnel travel costs.

Perhaps the most valuable benefit of our program is the record keeping system that tracks all employee training - automatically.

In addition, we have recently completed a detailed financial analysis that identifies a substantial cost savings each year we utilize this new compliance and risk management solution. Our financial analysis estimates almost $400,000.00 savings per year.
