HANDLING ACCIDENTS AND EMERGENCIES
If you get into an accident, information to be
exchanged should include but is not limited to:
- Drivers license information

- Automobile registration
- Insurance information
- Telephone numbers
If involved in a work-related traffic accident, notify your employer
at once.
If appropriate, wait for the police to arrive before you leave the
scene of an accident. Be wary of people who stop to assist you - instead
of getting out of the car, simply ask them to call the police.
Examples of vehicle safety equipment you might
want to carry:
- Fire extinguisher
- Jumper cables
- Flares
- Triangles
- Spare tire and tire changing tools
- Mobile phone
